Maximizing 4 days of adventure and to live like a local in D.C., done and accomplished :) It was an awesome and much needed vacation. It doesn’t hurt that I escaped a weekend of cold weather/rain to see the beautiful Autumn leaves, topped with a sunny/chilly/warm weather! LOVE IT!

I saw so much, so many buildings/places that I really should know the names of, but can’t remember all off the top of my head. It was still such a great experience. I love that there were such different dynamics within each neighborhood and how close other states are in the East Coast. Did I mention, how amazing it is to actually have SEASONS. Don’t get me wrong, I do love being spoiled by California, having a legit Fall was a nice change.

All in all a mentally relaxing trip equipped with lots and lots of walking, with minimal amount of sleep.
